Hochdruckmembransysteme wie die Umkehrosmose werden in der Regel zu diesem Zweck eingesetzt.<\/p>\n<p>. Der Unterschied zwischen Hoch- und Niederdruckmembranen liegt im angewandten Druck. Standard-RO arbeitet mit 195 psig, w\u00e4hrend Niederdruck-\/Niedrigenergie-Elemente (LP\/LE) mit 115 psig arbeiten.<\/p>\n<p>. Bei der Hochdruck-Umkehrosmose wird ein hydraulischer Druck verwendet, der den osmotischen Druck der L\u00f6sung \u00fcbersteigt, um den Transport von Wasser durch eine halbdurchl\u00e4ssige Membran anzutreiben<br \/>\nDer Hauptunterschied zwischen Hoch- und Niederdruckmembranen ist der Betriebsdruck. Niederdruckmembranen werden mit einem Druck von 10 bis 30 lb\/in (psi) betrieben, w\u00e4hrend Hochdruckmembranen, einschlie\u00dflich der Nanofiltration, mit einem Druck von 75 bis 250 psi betrieben werden[1][2]. Die Hochdruck-Membranfiltration erfordert einen Innendruck von 70 bar (1000 psi) oder mehr, w\u00e4hrend Niederdruck-Mikrofiltrationsanlagen einen Druck von unter 1 bar (15 psi) ben\u00f6tigen[3].
