Hello everyone, this is New Horizons of Water Treatment. I am an engineer engaged in the design and installation of water treatment equipment. Today I will answer some questions about water treatment equipment for you, and I hope it will be helpful to you.
Friends who want to know the cleaning and maintenance methods of ultrafiltration membranes believe that they are familiar with: cleaning and maintenance methods of ultrafiltration membranes, cleaning of ultrafiltration membranes, seven steps for cleaning ultrafiltration membranes, sharing of cleaning steps of ultrafiltration membranes, cleaning and maintenance methods of ultrafiltration membranes, chemical cleaning steps of ultrafiltration membranes, does ultrafiltration membrane need to be cleaned frequently, maintenance of ultrafiltration membranes, cleaning of ultrafiltration membranes with oil, and what tools can be used to clean ultrafiltration membranes? These questions are also very confusing. Let's first answer the question of cleaning and maintenance methods of ultrafiltration membranes.
Physical cleaning method
1. Isobaric cleaning method: Close the ultrafiltration water valve, open the concentrated water outlet valve, and flush the membrane surface by increasing the flow rate. This method is effective for removing a large number of soft impurities on the membrane surface.
2. High-purity water cleaning method: As the purity of water increases, the dissolving ability is enhanced. When cleaning, you can first use ultrafiltration water to flush away the loose dirt on the membrane surface, and then use pure water to circulate and clean.
3. Reverse cleaning method: The cleaning water enters from the ultrafiltration port of the membrane and passes through the membrane, rushing to the side of the concentrate port. The reverse flushing method can effectively remove the covering surface, but special attention should be paid during backwashing to prevent overpressure and avoid breaking the membrane or damaging the sealing bonding surface.
Chemical cleaning method
1. Acid solution cleaning: Common solutions include hydrochloric acid, citric acid, oxalic acid, etc. The pH of the prepared solution is 2-3. It is better to remove inorganic impurities by circulating cleaning or soaking for 0.5h-1h and then circulating cleaning.
2. Alkaline solution cleaning: Commonly used alkalis are mainly NaOH. The pH of the prepared solution is about 10-12. It can effectively remove impurities and grease by using water circulation operation cleaning or soaking for 0.5h-1h and then circulating cleaning.
3. Ultrafiltration membrane cleaning agent: Using 1%-3% H2O2, 500-1000mg/LNaClO and other aqueous solutions to clean the ultrafiltration membrane can remove dirt and kill bacteria. H2O2 and NaClO are commonly used bactericides.
4. Enzyme detergent: Such as 0.5%-1.5% pepsin, trypsin, etc., are effective in removing protein, polysaccharide, and oil pollutants.
The selection of ultrafiltration membrane cleaning agents should follow two principles: it should not undergo any chemical reaction with other materials of the membrane and components, and the selected chemicals should avoid causing secondary pollution.
