Stainless Steel Single Bag Filter Housing – Clamp Closure Series

Stark Single Bag Filter Housing (Clamp Type) is a cost-effective solution for coarse filtration. Designed for high-flow applications (up to 20 m³/h), it features a quick-opening clamp for easy bag replacement and supports standard Size #1 and #2 filter bags.

Product Description

High Dirt Holding Capacity for Coarse Filtration.

Unlike cartridge filters which are designed for precision polishing, the Stark Single Bag Filter Housing excels at removing large volumes of suspended solids, sand, and rust. It is the ideal choice for “rough” filtration or pre-filtration stages, protecting downstream equipment from clogging.

The Clamp Closure Design is engineered for efficiency. In applications where bags fill up quickly and need frequent changing, this tool-free opening mechanism allows operators to swap filter bags in under 60 seconds, minimizing maintenance downtime.

Filter Bag Compatibility Data:
Choosing the right micron rating (1-200µm) and material (PP/PE/Nylon) is key. For flow rate vs. pressure drop charts and chemical compatibility guides, please reference the technical data at our manufacturing resource center:

Applicable Industry

  • Paint & Coating Filtration:
Excellent for removing skins and agglomerates from paints, varnishes, and adhesives due to high dirt-holding capacity.
  • Cooling Water Side-Stream:
Cost-effective removal of atmospheric dust and sand from cooling towers to protect heat exchangers.
  • Food & Beverage (Coarse):
Primary filtration for edible oils, syrups, and beer to remove visible particulates before fine filtration.

Advantage One

Low Operating Cost

Bag filtration is the most economical solution for high-contaminant fluids. Unlike cartridges which must be discarded, filter bags can often be washed and reused multiple times.Even when replacement is necessary, the cost per bag is significantly lower than a set of precision cartridges, making it ideal for OPEX-sensitive projects.

Advantage TWO

Rapid Change-Out Design

The STK1 series features a lightweight stainless steel Clamp Closure. This allows the housing to be opened without any tools in seconds. For batch processing or applications requiring daily bag changes, this design saves valuable operator time and increases production throughput.
